For some time now there have been personal connections between the IV and Christian schools in Latvia and Lithuania. We are very pleased that these connections will now lead to full membership of both countries, which is to be decided at the next General Assembly. And we are especially pleased that the new membership is connected with the invitation to come to Riga and to hold the next General Assembly in the Latvian capital. It will take place on 30/31 October 2020.
Of course, we all do not know whether, in view of the corona virus, travelling will again be possible without restrictions in autumn. On 16 May, the IV board held a videoconference and confirmed its strong desire not only to hold a virtual meeting, but to meet “physically” in Riga.
