Ana Calvo is stepping down from the board of ICCS as she is finishing her job of seven years, serving as the coordinator of Evangelical Religious Education in Spain, for family reasons. She informed her colleagues on the board accordingly.
Ana wants to extend her gratitude to the ICCS board and its wonderful work and to the Comenius Institute* for all the years of European collaboration that they have done together which has added much to the national organization and to Religious Education in Spain and to her personally.
She says: “It has been truly a privilege to be part of this wonderful and much needed network in our beloved continent and my hope is that it continues growing and working together.”
The remaining board members regret Ana’s decision, as she had been a valuable member of ICCS and important link to colleagues in Southern Europe. However, they understand her decision being linked to the change in her professional career. They wish her all the best for her future.
*Longstanding ICCS President Dr Peter Schreiner, who recently stepped down, is director of the Comenius Institute.
