How are modern stories told? How do they spark interest? In a time of increasing secularisation, some might say there is no place for telling the story of religion anymore. Under the headline “Let’s tell our stories – the positive impact of religion in public education” Klingenthal 2020 invites you to revive the story of religions together with colleagues from all over Europe and to demonstrate why religion in education matters.
Klingenthal will take place from 5th – 9th October 2020 – provided the corona situation allows European wide travel and meetings at this point. Invitations will be send out via the CoGREE member organisations. 25 places can be offered in total.
At this hands-on edition participants will learn more about modern storytelling and how to apply it to religious education issues. The traditional excursion to Strasbourg will then give them the opportunity to put into action what they have learned right away and exchange with officials from the European institutions.
The goal is for each participant to return home with a lot of inspiration from all over Europe on how to make a more articulated, effective and powerful case for your cause in religious education – with convincing arguments and fitting communication tools.
