Unfortunately, the corona virus doesn’t spare the Klingenthal plannings for this year. With a heavy heart the responsible organisations (CoGREE and ICCS) have decided to postpone the event to 2021. The good news? Now, there are two opportunities to meet each other – one online, one offline.

The programme originally planned for this October will be put into practice next year. A new date has already been found. From 18th-22nd October 2021 participants will finally be able to enjoy the lovely atmosphere of Klingenthal and work on the topic “Let’s tell our stories – the positive impact of religion in public education”. Save the date! More on the topic here.

For those who don’t want to wait so long, the steering group set up an accompanying online event via zoom on one of the original dates in 2020. On 8th October 2020 from 4.30-6.30pm CET (5.30-7.30 in FIN, GRE and 3.30-5.30 in UK, POR) the steering group welcomes you at ‘Zoomthal’ to get into the spirit of Klingenthal 2021. Chatting, having a drink together and getting to know each other – we won’t let Corona take that away from us! Together we want to explore Klingenthal’s topic and discover your ideas, thoughts and stories around it. Let’s start to write the joyful and creative story of Klingenthal 2021 and get into the vibe of what is to come next year!

This online event will be open to a wider public. Even if you don’t know if you will be attending the conference in 2021, please don’t hesitate to register to get into contact with colleagues from all over Europe. You can do so via the registration form here below. Once registered you will receive information about the programme and the zoom link in due time before the event.

In case you have questions on Zoomthal 2020 or Klingenthal 2021, please don’t hesitate to contact the steering group (contact via ICCS board member Bianca Kappelhoff).
