After the overwhelming success of the first Zoomthal edition, ICCS and CoGREE now present Zoomthal II. We will continue working on storytelling in religious education and get ready for the face to face meeting in Klingenthal in October.
The second edition of Zoomthal will take place on Wednesday, 26th May 2021 4.30pm-6.30pm CET and of course – on zoom! After a first dive into storytelling and the links to religion in education, participants are now invited to continue telling the story of religious education with us. Will it be a drama? A romance? Or a comedy? We are curious to discover your creativity! A large part of the time will then be dedicated to exchange among participants in small groups.
Note: You can register for this event regardless if you participated in Zoomthal I or whether you will be able to participate in Klingenthal in October 2021.
Background: The Zoomthal format has been developed as the Klingenthal conference planned for 2020 had to be postponed to 2021. The online sessions offer the opportunity to start a conversation about the conference’s theme “Topic: “Let’s tell our stories – the positive impact of religion in public education”. Currently, Klingenthal 2021 continues being planned to take place as a face to face meeting close to Strasburg, France from 18-22 October 2021. Due to the still continuing corona pandemic, this is obviously still subject to change. ICCS will keep you updated via the usual communication channels.
